Yup, this sums up our past few days pretty nicely.

Our girls have really enjoyed playing with Emily's leap pad together recently.  They do surprisingly well at sharing taking turns with the different games and apps.  Right before this picture, Emily told me she was teaching Sophie to read.

We sold Sophie's crib before the move and bought her a "big girl bed".  Here she is getting tucked in her first night.  Spoiler alert: she did really well and has been napping and sleeping even better than she was in her crib.

My mom and I got pedicures on Saturday as a Mother's Day and belated birthday celebration.

Anyone who is wary of GF baking needs to try these almond joy cookies!

My sister and brother-in-law got a puppy today.  Can't wait to meet Monty!

Just taking the babies out for a stroll. It ended up that both babies wanted to be carried, so I toted two strollers around most of the time.

I am going to miss our awesome thrift store down the road and spending .99 cents to put smiles like this one on Em's face when she saw her new nightgown.

Eric passed his CRNA board exam today.  He didn't even tell me he was taking it, just said he needed some fresh air and came back a couple of hours later with this piece of paper and a big smile!

Emily is doing incredibly well with her reading, and her sight words!  Way to go, kiddo!

This is grandma's "happy place".

Instead of our usual routine, we headed out for ice cream on Sunday afternoon. Gotta take advantage of Bruster's while we can. And Em totally got that free baby cone despite being well over 40 inches.

Helping grandma with a little gardening. This lasted for about five minutes before she moved on to making a house for her "bug pets".

I could stare at this girl while she sleeps for a long time.

Just playing in the sand on a gorgeous sunny day. Clearly rainboots are a must have accessory!

This was taken a few days ago, but I like the pic, and don't have one for today.  So, we'll call it good.

The girls love to feed Oscar the end of their milk, yogurt, or smoothies. He's one spoiled kitty!

Taking the fast way around the playground.  She'd do this all day if she could.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my mom's birthday with a fancy brunch at the Grand Concourse in Station Square!

Eric and I attended a celebratory dinner and awards ceremony with the graduates from his CRNA program.  Congrats to all!

A landmark day for our family.  Eric attended graduation from his CRNA program at Pitt!  What an amazing guy!
